Day 01: BALIKPAPAN – LOA JANAN MAHAKAM RIVER

Arrival at airport in Balikpapan meeting service and direct transfer by car to Loa Janan, boarding house boat for exciting adventura on Mahakam River, Meals provided and overnight on houseboat.

Day 02: MUARA MUNTAI, MANCONG, MUARA PAHU

Visiting at Muara Muntai Wooden village, then crossing Jempang Lake by motor canoe to Mancong. On the you could see Rain forest and wildlife at Ohong creek like monkey’s and birds,Late afternoon by motor canoe back to Houseboat up stream for Muara Pahu, Meals and overnight on house boat

Day 03: MUARA PAHU – TEBISAK – TENGGARONG

Arrive at Muara Pahu, cruise up Tebisak by canoe, along the river bank you can see forest after a while we will pass the proboscis Monkeys Island, to spot these rare red endangered Borneo longnose monkeys, Late Afternoon, return to Muara Pahu and than downstream to Tenggarong,Meals and overnight at house boat

Day 04: TENGGARONG – SANGATTA – ORANGUTAN

Arrive at Tenggarong, visiting the former palace of Sultan Kutai Kertanegara. Where you will see the Sultan’s impressive collection of heirlooms, ceramics, Dayak’s art and culture items. Afterwards by car to Sangatta village, cruising up Sangatta River by motorcanoe into the jungle of Kutai National Park. Upon Arrival at Prefab Orangutan Research station, we will drop our stuff and direct start a jungle trek into the forest, looking for wild life and Orang Utans, which are completely wild. Lunch on the way, Dinner and overnight at Prefab Research station

Day 05: SANGATTA – BALIKPAPAN

Early in the morning by motor canoe to Sengata and than continue drive by car to airport Balikapapan for your next destination
